Suzuki Repowers

Is your boat feeling sluggish? Repowering is easier than you think. Whether you’re looking for more power, better fuel efficiency, new technology or to maximize your boat’s life, Gulf Coast Suzuki repowers can get your boat running smoothly in 3 easy steps.

Step 1: Request Quote

Book an appointment to discuss your boat specs and the motor you would like to purchase. During this call, you will choose the horsepower and color of your new motor. When choosing horsepower, reference the U.S. Coast Guard tag that states the maximum horsepower and weight of your boat. Once those decisions are made, we will email you a quote. Gulf Coast Suzuki offers financing through Sheffield Financial for both Suzuki and Honda models.

Step 2: Installation

On average, scheduling a repower takes 5-7 business days for in-stock motors and 7-10 business days for out-of-stock motors. Once your boat is ready for repower, our service team takes over. First, after removing your old motor, our certified technicians will inspect the steering and run a new wire harness, installing a new key switch and gauges. Next, our team will rig and hang the new motor, then add the propeller.

Step 3: Test Drive

To ensure every repower meets the highest standards, our team performs a full one-hour sea trial with a licensed captain. This testing process allows us to tune the engine, verify system functionality and confirm that your boat is operating at peak performance before it leaves our facility.
